Got everything back up and running until the critical update was installed. McAfee was running and had up to date definitions at the time of infection and was shut down. Thought the virus was removed until these updates were installed and the machine rebooted. This machine was infected last week with Live Security Platinum virus. After windows critical updates installed 8/15 I now have this issue: no internet access and receiving the specified service does not exist as an installed service.
